I am a semi-retired individual with a fascination for many things scientific or technical, but especially molecular electron structures. I have B.Sc (Hon) Chemical Physics (1977) and Ph.D (1981) in infrared spectroscopy of inorganic compounds (both Edinburgh). I worked for 30 years in nuclear power research and development. In my semi-retirement I have returned to electron structure studies for my own personal interest and adopted Psi4, a most impressive software suite, and the easiest to download, install and run. I am learning how to use Psi4 from scratch, and having a great time!! I am a part-time private tutor of maths, physics, chemistry to secondary school students.
